Cookie Policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on our Lymphatic Drainage page, and how you can control them. For how we use personal information more generally, see our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage and tracking pixels, work in a similar way. In this policy we call them all "cookies".
Your choices
When you first visit, we ask whether you accept optional cookies. Optional cookies stay switched off unless you choose to allow them. You can accept, reject or choose individual categories, and you can change your mind at any time.
If you withdraw consent, we stop the optional services and remove their cookies from this site. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings.
Strictly necessary
These are needed for the page to work and to remember your cookie choices. They cannot be switched off.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| cm_cookie_consent_v1 (local storage) | Cosmetic Medicine | Remembers your cookie choices | 12 months, then we ask again |
| cm_src (session storage) | Cosmetic Medicine | Remembers how you arrived at this page (for example from Instagram, Google or one of our adverts), so it can be included if you choose to send us an enquiry. It is never sent to analytics or advertising tools. | Until you close the browser tab |
| cm_lymph_prompt (session storage) | Cosmetic Medicine | Remembers that the "Still thinking about it?" box has been shown, so it doesn't appear again | Until you close the browser tab |
Analytics (optional)
Used only if you switch analytics on. They help us understand how many people visit the page and which parts are used. We do not send health information, treatment interests or anything you type to Google. Advertising features and Google signals are switched off.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics 4 | Distinguishes visitors | Up to 2 years |
| _ga_<ID> | Google Analytics 4 | Keeps track of your visit | Up to 2 years |
Advertising (optional)
Used only if you switch advertising on. The Meta Pixel tells us whether visits came from our Facebook or Instagram adverts, and records generic actions such as clicking to book, call or message us. It does not record which treatment interests you, or anything you type.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _fbp | Meta (Facebook, Instagram) | Measures visits from our adverts | Up to 90 days |
| _fbc | Meta (Facebook, Instagram) | Records that you arrived by clicking one of our adverts | Up to 90 days |
Other services you choose to use
- Google Maps: the map loads only if you click "Show Google Map". Google may then set its own cookies. See Google's privacy policy.
- Online booking (Phorest) and our enquiry form (Google Forms) open on those providers' own websites, which have their own cookie policies.
- WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook links take you to those services, which have their own cookie policies.
Fonts and images on this page are served from our own website, so no third party is contacted when the page loads.
